Housebuilder introduces home from home working to reflect office landscape changes

- 06 Jul 21

While the pandemic has permanently changed the working landscape, developer Vistry Yorkshire is using people power to determine how the new way of working looks for the business. Part of Vistry Group – the company has recently acquired additional premises at its Leeds head office, which will allow its 50+ regional team to be based in one building. The office has undergone a re-fit, which complies with all current social distancing measures, and the new look working space officially opened its doors to staff a few weeks ago. Regional managing director Scott Stothard said: “During these challenging times, Vistry has embraced agile working with a balance between working from home and the office; this new design considered these new ways of working by incorporating hot desks/work pods to give more flexibility in work space while creating a stimulating work environment staff can be proud of. “Ultimate, the company responsible for the fit-out, has done a fabulous job in creating a really workable ‘new home’. Vistry Yorkshire is all about its people, and we asked staff for their views before carrying out the work and have tried to include their designs and ideas where possible into the carefully thought-out layout.”
