- 07 Dec 20

A 25-year-old site manager in Milton Keynes has won a national honour for housebuilding excellence for the third year in a row. Jack Allen, of Bovis Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group – won the National House Building Council (NHBC)'s Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence for the third time and the coveted Regional Award for the second year in a row. Jack is based at the housebuilder’s Whitehouse Park location, in Crownhill, and was recognised in the NHBC’s Central region. Vistry had three other Seal of Excellence winners in the North East, North West and West regions. Jack said: “It feels amazing to have won a Regional Award for the second year and Seal of Excellence for the third year in a row. This is a team effort and these awards would not have been possible without a great team around me. “I would like to thank all the office staff and subcontractors working on this development. We are all inspired by handing over the best possible homes and seeing the smiles on our customers’ faces.” The latest recognition comes after Jack won the Regional Winner accolade in the NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards 2019 after receiving a Seal of Excellence for the second year in a row. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Pride in the Job recognises the UK’s best site managers. Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive of Vistry, said: “This hugely impressive achievement is a testament to Jack and his team's hard work in what have latterly been extremely challenging times for the industry and country. We look forward to celebrating Jack's terrific accomplishment, as a Seal of Excellence winner for the third time and Regional Award for the second.” Seals of Excellence and Regional Awards are presented to the best Quality Award winners, which are the top site managers picked from more than 11,000 site managers across the UK.
