Land director at national housebuilder to discuss south coast growth at Brighton event

A land director at a national housebuilder near Brighton will debate development and growth on the south coast – including £20billion worth of projects - at a special event next week.

Matt Charnock, strategic development director at Bovis Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group – will talk at the South Coast Development Conference, in Brighton.

Matt will be part of a panel of some of the region’s biggest names in business, politics and government, who will highlight future economic growth, including housebuilding, at the session, at Hilton Metropole on Kings Road.

“We feel privileged to be part of this special conference emphasising opportunities in the south coast and where developments worth more than £20 billion will be discussed,” Matt said. “I will focus on our existing and future locations in the region and how we are looking to contribute further to the south coast.”

More than 30 speakers will discuss and present plans for the future of the region at the conference, hosted by Built Environment Networking.

Keith Griffiths, managing director of Built Environment Networking, added there would be talk of joining up jobs, skills and growth across the region at the event, which takes place on 28th January.

“We’re delighted to be working with a whole host of private and public sector firms to bring this exciting conference back to the region,” he said. “This conference will be central to understanding the barriers to growth, whilst ensuring alignment and collaboration in the industry to boost jobs, skills, growth and regeneration across the whole region.’’
