Adventure seeker Sarah takes her fundraising to new heights

Proving the fundraising sky is the limit - adventure seeker Sarah Clingo has raised over £2,800 for mental health charity Mind. The Vistry Group estimating manager, based in Yorkshire, took to the skies over Bridlington to jump 10,000 feet from a plane during a tandem skydive. While Vistry Yorkshire has chosen Mind as its chosen charity for the year, Sarah’s personal support comes from her family’s own experience with mental health. She said: “Having lost family members who struggled with their mental health, this charity means a lot to me personally and I am really up for the challenge. “Good mental health is so important to our wellbeing and having charities like MIND to reach out and help those who are struggling is especially important right now, due to the added impact of the pandemic.” Sarah added: “The sky dive itself was absolutely exhilarating and I enjoyed every single second. My thanks to everyone who helped to make this happen and to all those who have supported my fundraising efforts.” The Vistry Yorkshire action girl can now add the sky dive to her list of adventures which include walking a section of the Great Wall of China, a climb to the top of Italy’s active volcano Mount Vesuvius and being on top of the world – quite literally – on the world’s tallest building the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
