Annual tournament scores with house builder

- 06 Jun 17

The annual football tournament organised by Waterbeach Colts FC was a huge success over the bank holiday weekend, which saw Bovis Homes support the popular fundraising event.

The tournament is run as part of Waterbeach Beer Festival, with all profits donated to the football club, a voluntary group affiliated with Cambridgeshire FA and supports local Community Groups. Founded in 2002, Waterbeach Colts FC provides boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16-years with the opportunity to learn and play football.

"This is a great event which brings the community together and raises money for a worthy cause," says Annette Hurst, Regional Sales Director for Bovis Homes. "We are delighted to have had the opportunity to support this year's event and we're thrilled that it was another great success!"

"We were delighted that Bovis Homes were able to step forward and help with a contribution to the sponsorship of the Football Festival, a tournament that has now been running for 14 years and continues to grow year on year. The tournament hosts teams from throughout Cambridgeshire and gives an ideal opportunity for the local and wider community to meet up and enjoy the occasion." explains Gary Fletcher, Waterbeach Colts Chairman.

"We hope this partnership can continue as the village expands."

Bovis Homes' new Drovers Way development is situated close to the recreation ground where the event was held and where Waterbeach Colts FC play.

With a range of new three to five bedroom homes available, Drovers Way has been popular with local house buyers. The stunning five-bedroom Ascot show home and sales centre is open Friday to Tuesday, from 10am until 5m.

For further information about the new homes, please call 01223 979011, visit www.bovishomes.co.uk or pop into the sales centre.
