Bedfordshire new-build homes appealing to all types of buyers at popular location

Families, couples and single buyers have all been snapping up homes at a new-build location in Bedfordshire, attracted by the village lifestyle on offer and the proximity to London.

In fact, all the four-bedroom homes have now sold out and there is currently only one three-bedroom Epsom house style property available at Bovis Homes’ Moreteyne Park location in Marston Moretaine – with a handful of five-bedroom properties also still on the market.

Sue Holloway, Bovis Homes sales advisor at Moreteyne Park, said the Epsom was perfectly situated on the development, which has strong transport links thanks to its proximity to the A421, which leads to Bedford, as well as the M1.

“The Epsom is in a lovely location on the development,” she said. “It’s next to what was our show home – it’s an excluded, quiet spot.

“We get a great mix of interested parties at Moreteyne Park. Our Bovis Homes are popular with families, couples and individuals all looking for a perfect lifestyle in Bedfordshire.

“Moreteyne Park also has great transport connections, meaning it’s great for commuters, who can get to Bedford in 15 minutes and London in less than an hour.”

Sue, who has worked for Bovis Homes for three years, added that all types of purchasing schemes were being used at the location, including Help to Buy, Smooth Move and Home Exchange.

With the Help to Buy - Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent. They then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage, which opens the door to more competitive lending rates.

Those using Smooth Move get support from Bovis Homes throughout the process, with the housebuilder working to find movers the right buyer and paying estate agent fees. With Home Exchange, Bovis Homes will purchase the customer’s current property, meaning they avoid those fees and complicated house chains.
