Special hard hats, high visibility vests, tools and toy bricks have been donated to the new nursery by Bovis Homes.

Paul Bennison, marketing manager in Bovis Homes West Midlands region, said: “The new nursery is a huge asset to Bidford-on-Avon and gives home owners at our Bidford Leys location access to a superb child-care facility.

“Providing play construction materials seemed an appropriate idea to inspire young minds and we are delighted to be able to support the nursery. We wish them every success.”

The nursery has a guiding philosophy that focuses on the development of imagination through inspired learning and play, and the donation was gratefully received by Bright Stars’ director Jane Walters.

“The resources that have been generously donated by Bovis Homes are an excellent addition to our brand-new nursery. They provide a fantastic opportunity for our children to use their imagination,” said Jane.

“Children can work together, using important team work and social skills, to reconstruct what they observe in the real world. The resources are an excellent opportunity to encourage taking turns as they all want to get their hands on the role-play pneumatic drill!”

Bright Stars Nursery officially opened on Monday, 2nd September.
