Bovis Homes appoints new regional managing director

- 18 Apr 17

Bovis Homes has announced the appointment of Steve Jones as the new Managing Director of its Southern region.

Steve joins Bovis Homes with a wealth of senior management experience in the construction industry, having spent more than 30 years at house builders including Crest Nicholson, St James Homes and Bellway. Most recently he served as a regional managing director for Churchill Retirement Living.

In his new role Steve will focus on furthering the region's recent process of change and implementing new customer service practices.

"I'm delighted to join Bovis Homes at a time when the outlook for the region is very strong, with a great team of people already in place. We also have an excellent land bank in good locations where family homes are in much demand," said Steve.

"In the coming months we will look to focus on our goals of further improving our customer service provision and working even closer with our supply chain partners to ensure we produce first class homes for happy customers."

James Watson, Managing Director of Bovis Homes' East Division, of which the Southern region is part, said: "Steve's appointment is a continuation of our drive to employ the best possible talent to take our regional teams forward. With his extensive experience, I have no doubt that he will pick up on the excellent progress made by the region over the past 12 months and drive this forward even further."

Bovis Homes' Southern region, headquartered at the New Ash Green offices in Kent, builds family homes in sought-after locations across the south of England, from Salisbury in Wiltshire to Hurstpierpoint in West Sussex.
