Bovis Homes calls for public input in shaping new homes in Bromyard

The people of Bromyard are being given the chance to have their say on proposals for up to 500 new homes at a site in the town.

Bovis Homes is preparing a scheme for the development of land at Hardwick Bank, to the north of the town and is keen to gather feedback from the local community to help shape the plans, ahead of submitting an outline planning application.

Residents are invited to a public exhibition at Bromyard & Winslow Town Council Offices on Wednesday 16th November from 2pm - 7pm where they will be able to view and discuss the current plans with members of the Bovis Homes project team.

The proposals currently include provision for up to 500 new homes, as well as significant landscaping and public open spaces and pedestrian / cycle lanes throughout the scheme.

Victoria Trotman, Strategic Planning Director at Bovis Homes, said: "We're looking forward to meeting lots of local people at the exhibition and discussing our proposals with them. Feedback from local residents will be key to understanding how these much-needed new homes can best serve the town of Bromyard and provide the best possible long-term housing solution for the local community.

She added: "Our vision is to create a new neighbourhood of high quality new homes that will complement and enhance Bromyard.

"We're keen to incorporate comments and ideas wherever possible, and as part of the forthcoming planning application we will produce a Statement of Community Engagement which will show how the feedback we receive has helped shape the final plans."
