Bovis Homes celebrate Stafford opening

- 17 Apr 14

One of the UK's leading housebuilders, Bovis Homes, has opened a new office near Stafford to support the growth of its operations in its newly created Northern region.

With developments in Biddulph and Stafford, and one coming soon in Yarnfield, Staffordshire is a key area for Bovis Homes Northern, and is seen as the ideal venue for the regional offices.

The arrival of Bovis Homes will offer a significant boost to the area's economy and the new HQ at Dunston Hall will support a region which is growing its operations in attractive locations along the M6 corridor. The regional team will be looking for land opportunities across this patch to deliver much needed new housing stock and develop the business.

New Northern Managing Director Darrell White said: "This is an area we know well and is a traditional heartland for us in the Midlands. Two of our flagship developments - St George's Park in Stafford and Uplands Mill in Biddulph - are in the county and it offers a great base for us to support our developments in all parts of the region.

"The move shows our long-term commitment to Stafford and we are now looking to buy more land, build more much-needed quality homes and create more jobs in the town.

"The new headquarters are in a great spot - just off the M6 and with great access to some of the key areas that we will be looking to focus our activity on," said Darrell. "This is an exciting time to be operating here. There are a number of opportunities and having a presence in the heart of the area ensures that we are in the right position to make the most of them."
