Bovis Homes granted consent for 1,000 homes in Northampton.

Bovis Homes has been granted outline planning consent for 1,000 dwellings in Collingtree, Northampton.

The proposals include the 1,000 new homes together with a new primary school, mixed use local centre, village hall and strategic highway improvements. The development, located next to Collingtree Park Golf Club, has been promoted by Bovis Homes' strategic land teams since identifying its potential as a sustainable urban extension of Northampton more than 10 years ago.

Work is now under way to design a detailed layout for a reserved matters planning application for phase one of the development.
