The 31st / 9th Ipswich Beavers will soon be taking advantage of new sporting and camping equipment thanks to national house builder Bovis Homes

The company, which is currently building new homes at its Ribbans Park location situated close to the Beavers' meeting hall made a donation of £500 to help fund new equipment for the group.

Annette Hurst, Regional Sales Director at Bovis Homes said: "It's great that we can play a part in the local community and support young people in getting involved with sports and outdoor pursuits. The 31st / 9th Beavers is the closest group to our Ribbans Park development so we hope to see lots of young people from Ribbans Park joining the groups and enjoying the activities on offer."

Karen Butcher, Beaver Leader of the 31st / 9th Beavers said: "This donation will enable us to update old equipment and to extend our range of sports activity equipment, outside activities play an important role in the Beaver programme and the children enjoy the wide range of sports activities offered."

Bovis Homes' Ribbans Park location offers a range of three and five-bedroom family homes just three miles from Ipswich's historic centre. For more information, visit www.bovishomes.co.uk
