Bovis Homes ready to deliver 74 New homes for Didcot

- 19 Apr 17

Bovis Homes Thames Valley region is celebrating after completing the acquisition of a 74-homes site on Hadden Hill in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

As part of the construction of the new homes, of which 40 per cent will be allocated as affordable, Bovis Homes will contribute more than £600,000 to the local community through Section 106 and Community infrastructure Levy (CIL) contributions.

The site, close to the local Tesco superstore, will see the formation of a new public footpath leading to the store, and improvements to a bus stop and shelter located close to the site on the A4130.

Jon Wheeler, Land Director for Bovis Homes' Thames Valley region, said: "This acquisition comes after a period of close collaboration with the local council and we'd like to thank them for their support.

"We're looking forward to getting started on site delivering these much needed new homes. We hope to begin construction work in the summer after ecological works have been completed. The first homes are set to be completed in early 2018."
