Bovis Homes supports Telford school

- 30 Nov 18

A local housebuilder has donated funds to a Shropshire school, helping it to take a step closer to acquiring some new outdoor equipment.

Bovis Homes has given £200 to Priorslee Primary Academy in Telford to support its Christmas fundraising event, which it is hosting to raise money for a variety of new equipment for the school.

“We are delighted to support Priorslee Primary Academy and we hope that their Christmas event is a huge success,” says Bovis Homes regional marketing manager, Louise Macrae. “We’re sure that it will be hugely popular - and pupils will be enjoying their new apparatus next summer!”

The donation will go towards prizes for the raffle, which will be held during the event to raise funds for a range of equipment, including an all-weather table tennis table, outdoor play equipment, lockers and buddy bench seating.

Since joining the community with its Iddeshale Gardens location, Bovis Homes has been a keen supporter of a range of local organisations, including Shifnal Town Football Club and Shifnal Cricket Club.

“We’ve welcomed many new residents to Iddeshale Gardens and it is fast becoming a wonderful, close-knit community,” explains Louise. “We’re sure many of these residents will love to be part of these local clubs, if they’re not already. We believe these groups and organisations are an integral part of all communities and we are pleased to be able to support them where we can.”

Bovis Homes’ Iddeshale Gardens has a range of four and five-bedroom properties available. The spacious location has been carefully-designed with open green spaces, footpaths and a play area, creating a picturesque neighbourhood ideal for socialising and outdoor leisure activities.
