Naomi House & Jacksplace, a charity providing regional hospices for children and young adults in southern England, recognised national housebuilder Bovis Homes with the Chair’s Award for Corporate Support at an awards ceremony this week.

At the charity’s Night of Celebration which took place at Southampton Football Club, supporters of the charity were acknowledged for their contribution and the national housebuilder was amongst the night’s winners.

Bovis Homes raises thousands of pounds for the charity who offer care and support to many families. The housebuilder was also recognised for its assistance in raising awareness of the important work that they do and opening up networks for additional support.

Alix Laflin, marketing manager in Bovis Homes Southern Counties region, said: “It is so wonderful to be able to support such a worthy charity who care for more than 525 life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their extended family.

“The charity’s nursing, care, play and family support teams are experts in delivering the crucial support that families need at very challenging times.

“We really appreciate the recognition in the charity’s award ceremony and feel very proud to be able to help Naomi House & Jacksplace”.

Bovis Homes’ Southern Counties region has been raising money for the Winchester-based charity through a variety of initiatives including an auction, raffle and even completing a Tough Mudder challenge in Henley-on-Thames.
