Brand-new housing range launching at Haygate Fields in Wellington

Shropshire house hunters will be able to view properties from Bovis Homes’ brand-new range as it launches two new show homes at its Haygate Fields location in Wellington.
As well as being among the first show homes from the new collection to open in the country, the properties will also include an array of exciting features to demonstrate how smart technology can be used at home.

“We only have a handful of show homes open to the public from our new housing range, and we are delighted to be launching two at our Wellington location,” says regional sales director, Elaine Cartwright. “These show homes will be particularly special as they will demonstrate our new state-of-the-art smart home system which is available to customers at Haygate Fields.”

Bovis Homes is offering buyers the ultimate smart home package, with cables and devices built-in to create a clean, modern and stylish property. Visitors to the show homes will be able to see for themselves how the technology could transform their day-to-day living.

“Our three-bedroom Spruce and four-bedroom Aspen show homes will be set-up to demonstrate the functionality of the system and will include appliances such as ovens, fridges and TV systems, as well as sound and lighting which can be controlled by a smart home app on a phone or tablet or by voice control,” says Elaine.

The new collection, which ranges from two-bedroom homes to large five-bedroom family houses, are named after British trees, and have been designed and developed by Bovis Homes for launch in 2019.

Elaine says: “The first part of the design process for the new range involved talking to all types of home buyer and asking what they looked for in a new home.

“In developing those ideas into the designs, our guiding principles were to create quality homes that are eye-catching and well-proportioned on the outside, with a real sense of light and flow on the inside.”

The four-bedroom Aspen has a front-facing sitting room, which is light and airy, while the contemporary, open-plan kitchen and dining area is ideal for entertaining friends and family. There is also a separate study, which takes the hassle out of working from home. The master bedroom, with its private dressing area and luxury en suite, is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The impressive three-bedroom Spruce combines traditional architecture with modern design to stunning effect. The sitting room and open-plan kitchen and dining area span the full length of the property, making them light, airy and very spacious – ideal for entertaining guests. While the master bedroom includes a private dressing area and en suite.
