- 02 Aug 21

Young footballers at Stafford Atletico are sporting fresh new kits this season as part of a £900 sponsorship deal with a local housebuilder. Bovis Homes, which is building brand-new homes nearby at Partridge Walk, teamed up with the football club to provide new kits for the 13 players in the under 12s team. The red and white striped shirts feature the Bovis Homes logo on the front. Lynton Dudgeon, regional sales and marketing director, said: “We are proud to support Stafford Atletico, which plays an important in the local community for a number of families, including Cole, the nephew of our sales administrator, Chelsea Sargeant, who loves playing for the team. “The new kit looks fantastic and we wish the team the best of luck in their upcoming matches.” Tim Gray, manager of Stafford Atletico under 12s team, said: “We are extremely grateful that Bovis Homes has continued its sponsorship of our now under 12s team. This sponsorship has helped us with another quality kit to match the football we play.” Stafford Atletico Football Club is open to boys and girls from the ages of six to 15. Younger children new to football are able to join development sessions hosted on a Saturday. Partridge Walk, off Stone Road, has beautiful countryside on its doorstep while being within easy reach of the amenities Stone and Stafford have to offer. The development will boast a range of stylish two, three and four-bedroom homes in its first phase and prospective house hunters are encouraged to register their interest on the Bovis Homes website for the latest updates.
