Bovis Homes donated £500 towards the Banbury Mini Festival 2019, which saw Under 7s teams through to Under 12s sides from across Oxfordshire challenge for their age group title.

Young rugby players competed at Banbury Rugby Club at DCS Stadium at Bodicote Park, on Oxford Road in Bodicote, near Bovis Homes’ Longford Park location on Longford Park Road.

Paul Bennison, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “Young rugby stars took part in this cracking Oxfordshire mini tournament that saw plenty of tough tackles and some terrific tries.

“Bovis Homes is proud to sponsor Banbury Mini Festival and be a part of this great community event, where we cheered youngsters on and spoke with parents about this great town, opportunities for the future and our selection of new-build homes here.”

Bovis Homes had a stand at the festival, with merchandise, brochures and leaflets, highlighting the quality of housing the housebuilder has in the county.

Staff were on hand to speak to families, offer advice on buying a new home and talk them through Bovis Homes’ new and existing housing collection.

More than 120 teams competed in the festival, which is the largest in the area. Every player received a medal for their efforts, to illustrate sportsmanship.

Jonathan Tibbetts, on the Banbury Rugby Mini Festival committee, said: "We'd like to thank Bovis Homes for their recent support of the mini festival. The festival is the largest event for the minis and secures future months and years of mini and junior rugby at Banbury."

Bovis Homes offers modern properties, carefully designed for today’s lifestyles with contemporary features such as open-plan living areas, stylish fitted kitchens and en-suite bathrooms.
