Luton Town goalkeeper James Shea bought a four-bedroom Bovis Homes property at Livingstone Gardens, off Fyfield Road, offering the perfect family lifestyle.

James, his partner Charlotte and three-year-old daughter Amelia moved across the road from twin brother Jack, partner Georgia and their three kids; Olivia, 3, Albie, 6, and Teddy, four months – and they all support the Hatters!

James, 28, who played for Arsenal’s youth team before joining newly promoted Luton in 2017, said: “The house move has been absolutely perfect. It’s everything we wanted and Bovis Homes has gone above and beyond – sales advisor Ben has been unbelievable, nothing is too much and I can’t praise him enough. Declan, the assistant site manager, has been wonderful too.

“My brother moved first and we’re a really close family. We can’t get enough of each other! Our partners are best friends and our kids love each other.

“We visited Jack’s home and thought it was absolutely perfect, we love the new-build quality and Livingstone Gardens is the perfect place for families, with its green spaces and safe environment.”

The family all moved from Islington, where they lived near James and Jack’s parents as well as Charlotte and Georgia’s too. And now they think the grandparents might all join them on Livingstone Gardens!

James added that the Bovis Homes location was well located to get to Luton for matchdays and training, plus London and the rest of the country.

He bought the children Luton Town strips – including Amelia, who has ‘Daddy’ and the number 36 – her dad's squad number – on the back of her shirt.

“Amelia’s a real daddy fan and they all watch the football,” James added. “We’ve enjoyed something special as a club with back-to-back promotions and we just hope we can have a good season and stay firmly in the Championship.

“Our parents think it’s a great idea that we’re living next to each other and I wouldn’t be surprised if they move here too!”

Ben Franklin, Bovis Homes sales advisor at Livingston Gardens, said: “James, Charlotte, Jack and Georgia have been an absolute dream to deal with and are both loving their new-build family homes.

“The children are enjoying living so close to each other too – you can see how close they all are and we look forward to welcoming the grandparents if they want to make the move too!”
