Charity's Foodshare programme wins backing from Bovis Homes team

- 02 Oct 17

Bovis Homes employees at the Western regional office in Bishop's Cleeve are supporting a charity scheme aimed at providing food to local people in need.

They're donating non-perishable and canned products to the Foodshare programme run by the Caring for Communities and People (CCP) organisation based in Cheltenham.

The food collection at the office has been organised by Subject Access Response officer Raymundo Villanueva, a CCP volunteer.

"We're encouraging everyone to donate a whole range of non-perishable, dried and canned foods," he said.

"Whether it's a can of beans in their cupboard that they haven't got round to using, or a bag of pasta they've added to their weekly shop specifically to donate to Foodshare, every donation from the team will help.

"As well as a food products, we're also inviting donations of personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, tooth brushes and soap.

"The donations will be collected from the office on a regular basis and distributed as part of food parcels to those who need them by CCP."
