Christmas cheer as first show homes are launched at Chinnor new-build location

- 18 Dec 18

There was plenty of festive cheer at a popular new Oxfordshire location as the community gathered together to celebrate the opening of two new show homes at Bovis Homes’ Chiltern View.

Chinnor residents and local school children enjoyed a Christmassy afternoon at Chiltern View as Bovis Homes unveiled its three-bedroom Sheringham and four-bedroom Canterbury show homes.

“We were delighted to welcome members of the local community to our special opening event,” says regional marketing manager, Hollie Lockhart. “It was lovely to bring people together, especially at this time of year, and get into the festive spirit.”

Guests were treated to a range of Christmas carols, sung by pupils from Mill Lane Primary School, while tucking into some festive refreshments. They were also able to meet Santa’s reindeer, who had also come along to celebrate the launch.

Since opening its sales centre earlier this year, Bovis Homes’ Chiltern View location has created a lot of interest in the local housing market.

“We’ve welcomed a wide range of buyers, from first-time home seekers, those looking to move up the housing ladder and downsizers,” says Hollie. “We’re really excited to have now launched our show homes to give house hunters the opportunity to see for themselves the style and quality of the properties available at Chiltern View.

“Our show homes are really special and well worth visiting. The interior design is unique and combines a contemporary feel with the luxurious style of art deco. They’ve got some quirky additions too, such as the hand-painted mural on the child’s bedroom wall - inspired by the local railway.”

Bringing a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes to the village in a variety of layouts and styles, Chiltern View has a wide selection of properties available. The homes are designed for modern lifestyles, with features such as open-plan living areas, contemporary kitchens, en suites and French doors out into the garden.

“If you’re looking to move home, it’s worth popping in to see the team to discuss your options. Our experienced sales advisors Stevie and Roz will be there to welcome you and tell you more about Chiltern View, the homes available and the purchase assistance schemes which could help to get you moving,” says Hollie.

“For example, the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, which is exclusive to brand-new homes, is available for first-time buyers and existing home owners alike. Buyers only require a five per cent deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the house.

“Meanwhile, our Smooth Move scheme can help save purchasers time and money, as we’ll deal with the estate agents on your behalf and even pay their fees, while with Home Exchange we could buy your old home, meaning no stressful property chains.”
