Couple keep it in the Bovis Homes family as they return to Littlehampton after 20 years away

A Littlehampton couple, who have returned to the town after 20 years away, have bought from the same housebuilder that built their previous West Sussex home as they were so impressed with the quality.

Brian and Angie Roberts have purchased their four-bedroom “dream house” at Bovis Homes’ Hampton Park location, on Toddington Lane, so that they can be by the sea once more, along with their 11-year-old Bichon Frise, Snoopy.

They have moved from another Bovis Homes location in Faygate, Horsham, where they were living in a three-bedroom property.

Brian, a furniture salesman, said: “We bought a new-build house again because of the quality. There are 17 windows in our new house so every room is light and spacious and we think the layout is perfect. Our favourite room is the lounge as there are French doors and a south-facing garden.

“We wanted to move back near the sea as we lived in the area 20 years ago. We just love living by the coast and it’s our dream house."

"My commute to work is longer but I don't mind at all and we were able to clear our mortgage as Littlehampton is fantastic value.”

Brian, a keen walker, caravanner and fisherman, added that his new neighbours were “fantastic” and the town’s amenities were very close.

Hampton Park is proving so popular that the location has only two homes left to buy – the four-bedroom Brighton and Canterbury house types.
