Couple's big prize surprise is icing on the cake

A young couple had an unforgettable surprise when they visited Bovis Homes' Iddeshale Gardens in Shifnal, where they are buying their first home together.

It was the 'icing on the cake' for Natasha Sutton and Jon Earp when they discovered that they were the national winners of Bovis Homes' summer prize draw and had won a £1,000 holiday voucher!

"We can't believe it, we're stunned!" says Jon, a graphic designer. "It's just amazing. We were over the moon with our home and the deal we got, and now this is the icing on the cake for us."

Natasha, an optical assistant, and Jon had entered Bovis Homes' Summer Heat Wave prize draw, which involved them posing for a photo when they visited the sales office over the summer holidays. Their names were then picked out of the hat from entries across the country to win the national prize.

"We haven't been away for two or three years because we've been saving for a deposit so this is a dream for us!" says Natasha. "We could got to New York or have a city break - or it might be nice to go somewhere hot for a relaxing holiday."

Shifnal sales advisors Mandy and Mark broke the news to the delighted couple on another visit to the sales office, close to their new three-bedroom house.

"It's our first home together and everything has been perfect," says Jon. "We have been looking to buy a house for at least two years, and it wasn't until we came to Iddeshale Gardens that we found a home which ticked all the boxes."

To save for a house deposit, Natasha has been living with her parents in Stafford, while Jon has been with his in Great Wyrley.

"We got such a great deal for the home, it made all the difference to us," says Natasha. "The Help to Buy scheme was also really straight forward and Bovis Homes helped us all along the way. We'll have everything we need when we move in - we've got all the integrated appliances included and we received the entertainment package."

Natasha and Jon will be moving into their home at Iddeshale Gardens later this month.
