Customer Services Director promoted at Vistry Western

Vistry Group, which includes Bovis Homes and Linden Homes, has appointed Sarah Sperring as its customer services director for the Western region. Sarah joined the company in 2016 as head of customer services, having previously worked at David Wilson, Mitie and BT, also spending time in America. With 15 years’ customer services experience, Sarah works with her team of 12 to ensure customers receive an excellent service once they have moved to their new home and any issues are rectified quickly and to a high standard. Speaking about her promotion, Sarah said: “I feel very proud to have been promoted and to be working for Vistry. A customer service director position is very rare in the housebuilding industry and it shows the value Vistry places on the role. Customers are at the heart of everything we do and it’s wonderful to have the position given such recognition and respect. Ensuring our customers are happy and settled in their new homes is the best feeling. “It’s certainly been a busy year with Vistry forming, managing a team remotely and – from a personal point of view – contending with home schooling during lockdown! However, everyone has rolled up their sleeves and it’s been amazing to see the effort and dedication not only in my team and the region but across the organisation.” Managing director, Dave Farley, added: “Sarah has delivered great levels of customer service with her team and she’s fantastic at implementing workable systems to ensure processes are followed. We are very pleased to be able to promote from within the company; we are constantly investing in our people and Sarah is an excellent leader so was the natural choice. We’re delighted to see her promoted. “The Stamp Duty holiday, coupled with the need for many to move to a home with a study or an extra bedroom, has meant the market has been very buoyant in what could have been a challenging year. The Western region is growing and we are building over 500 homes in 2021, with a number of exciting new launches in the pipeline, so we’re pleased to have Sarah at the helm of the customer services department.” Sarah lives in Monmouthshire with her husband, son and daughter.
