Double celebrations for lucky prize winners

There were winning celebrations for hundreds of the race goers who attended the Gold Cup Day at Cheltenham Festival recently, but for four lucky visitors, they were winners before they even set foot through the racecourse gates.

Tracey Coleman and Michael Ford both won a pair of tickets to the prestigious event after entering a prize draw with Bovis Homes, which has its Furlong Rise location situated just a short walk from the racecourse. And the day was made even more magical for Michael and his wife, as they were also celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary and were thrilled to receive the news that they had won.

"We were absolutely delighted to receive the call to let us know we were the lucky winners," says Michael. "When we visited Furlong Rise a couple of weeks ago we were blown away by how beautiful the homes were and the location is perfect. We are hoping to relocate over to Cheltenham from Barnwood in the near future and we could certainly see ourselves settling down in a Bovis Home. To be attending Gold Cup Day on our wedding anniversary is fantastic and definitely beats the quiet lunch we had planned in a local pub."

The competition was run at Bovis Homes' locations across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Oxfordshire and visitors to the sales centres were given the chance to enter the prize draw.

Tracey, who is currently in the process of purchasing a five-bedroom home at Keble Fields in Fairford, took friend, Lisa Ranstead, to the event with her. She said: "It was a lovely surprise to receive such an exciting phone call from Bovis Homes to let me know I had won. I am due to complete on my new home with them in April and this is a fabulous treat for me. I have lived close to Cheltenham Racecourse for some time but I have never attended, so to win tickets for the biggest day of The Festival is fantastic. We had such a fabulous day - I got the winning horse for the Gold Cup and Lisa placed a few winning bets!"
