Families are flocking to a Cheshire new-build location thanks to its community spirit and a housebuilder’s part-exchange scheme.

Bovis Homes' Honeyvale Gardens in Moulton, Cheshire
House-hunter enquiries have sky-rocketed at Bovis Homes’ Honeyvale Gardens in Moulton, which is proving popular with those who enjoy a village lifestyle in an attractive area with strong transport links.

Bovis Homes’ Home Exchange scheme means the housebuilder will purchase the mover's current property, meaning they avoid those fees and complicated house chains.

To part-exchange your home, a housebuilder's current property must be valued at no more than 75% of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.

Kate Burrow, regional sales director at Bovis Homes, said: “We have a lot of families enquiring about our Honeyvale Gardens location, and about Home Exchange.

“House hunters are impressed by the development’s village lifestyle and the proximity of popular amenities and good commuter links. They want to know what they will get for their money, what house types are available and how Home Exchange can help them move. They are usually impressed by the answers!

“Home Exchange really is helping to make many families’ dreams a reality at Honeyvale Gardens as there is no chain and it’s a guaranteed sale. Moulton offers for a desirable lifestyle for all types of buyer. There is so much to do here, a great sense of community and those who need to commute to other parts of the country can do so easily.”

Honeyvale Gardens is surrounded by green fields and the location offers a slower pace of life while being close to the popular areas of Davenham and Kingsmead.

There is a range of house types currently available at the Bovis Homes location, including the three-bedroom Horton, four-beds such as the Montpellier and Durham and the five-bedroom Arundel and Chester.

The Horton has an open-plan kitchen with dining area, plus French doors to the back garden. It also has a separate sitting room, an en suite upstairs, and outside, a garage with parking.

The Montpellier offers an impressive sitting room with French doors on to the garden, plus a garage and parking, while the Arundel boasts an open-plan kitchen and family area. Bedrooms one and two both have an en suite and there is a double garage.

The Durham has a spacious dining area with an open-plan kitchen, plus French doors to the back garden. There are two en suites upstairs and, outside, a garage and parking.

Those who like to socialise while cooking will also appreciate the open-plan kitchen and dining area in the Arundel. Two en suites and a garage, or allocated parking, await homebuyers set on this house type.

An open-plan kitchen, dining area, separate sitting room, study, two en suites, a double garage and parking all await those interested in the Chester house type.

There are a variety of purchasing schemes available at Honeyvale Gardens including Home Exchange, Help to Buy, Smooth Move and the Bovis Homes Armed Forces Discount Scheme.

With the Help to Buy - Equity Loan scheme, purchasers need just a five per cent deposit and the Government provides an equity loan of up to 20 per cent. They then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage, which opens the door to more competitive lending rates.

Those using Smooth Move get support from Bovis Homes throughout the process, with the housebuilder working to find movers the right buyer and paying estate agent fees.

Bovis Homes also supports those connected to the military and has its own purchase scheme available for these buyers. Bovis Homes is a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant - a promise to ensure that those who serve or who have served in the military, plus their families, are treated fairly.
