Families to find out why five-bedroom new-build homes in Shrewsbury are so popular

Children and parents are enjoying brand-new homes in Shrewsbury boasting open-plan living with enough space for all the family to enjoy – and you could see them for yourself this weekend.

Bovis Homes' Oxford house type
House buyers are moving into Bovis Homes’ five-bedroom properties at the housebuilder’s Bowbrook Meadows location, off Mytton Oak Road, and potential purchasers will visit the location this Saturday.

Those who attend Bovis Homes’  Unlock the Door event can enjoy a glass of Prosecco while viewing the housebuilder’s Oxford house type.

Reflecting the best of modern living, some of the homes overlook green open space and all are a short walk from new public footpaths at the development, which is in its final phase.

Elaine Cartwright, regional sales and marketing director at Bovis Homes, said: “We’re so proud of our Oxford house types, which offer families the best of modern living by utilising space and light to create the ultimate home.

“Our Oxford homes at Bowbrook Meadows include something for all the family, no matter what age, and that’s why we have received so many enquiries about them. But don’t take our word for it, come to our Shrewsbury location yourself and see why we are so pleased with them.”

The properties include an open-plan kitchen with a dining area - perfect for family time - plus French doors to the back garden, linking the inside to the outside in a perfect way.

There is a separate sitting room, study, utility and cloakroom, to meet all the needs of modern living, particularly if parents need to work from home. Upstairs, are the five bedrooms, an en-suite and a family bathroom. For motorists, there is also a garage or allocated parking.

Those who buy an Oxford, which are on the market from £399,995, also receive appliances in the purchase. There is a flooring and blinds package for rooms throughout the home, plus a sound and vision package, for those who reserve this month.

“Not that buyers need any more incentive, but the Oxford house types come with appliances and packages included,” Elaine added.

“The kitchen should be the hub of the home and certainly is in the Oxford. Our large open-plan kitchen means while parents cook, they can socialise and monitor younger members of the family. Or everyone can cook together to make the most of family time!

“There are French doors leading from the dining room to the back garden, which is great for social occasions, when the doors can be opened out to create a great flow from the downstairs to the outdoors - perfect for those summer barbecues!

“Hard-workers who need to be based at home during the week will also be delighted with the good-size study. There really is something for everyone.”

The Unlock the Door event starts at 10am.
