A growing family in Steeple Claydon say they are delighted with the layout and quality of their new home which includes a playroom for Ben, 9 and Ella, 7.

Kelly Horwood and her husband, Nick, moved with their two children to Bovis Homes’ Nightingale Fold location in the village.

Pet cat Phoebe and spider, Margrit - named by Ella – also joined in the move into the five-bedroom home and Kelly described the process as “seamless”.

Kelly, who has lived in Buckinghamshire with Nick for 10 years, said: “We just love the whole house! The space is amazing.

“Having a play room for the children has made such a difference. I love our formal dining room for the special occasions and we have a large garden where our son can play football to his heart’s content.

“The location was perfect to be close to the schools we wanted to be near, and having a plot with a large garden was too good to refuse. Nightingale Fold is such a lovely, quiet family area too.

“We lived in a village nearby but needed a bit more space so we were looking in the area for a while. We've lived near here for over 10 years and we love it here. The schools and amenities along with access to many towns and cities, for work, is great.

"The whole move has been seamless. There were no issues at all and, I know it's unheard of with house moves, but literally everything went right!”

Nick, a project manager, and Kelly, a chartered accountant who is currently a full-time mum, also enjoy the property’s two en suites, which they said was great for when guests came to stay. They added they were impressed by the range of choices they could pick from when choosing their home’s interior.

The family loves adventure and is planning to go to Malaysia next year. They keep up an active lifestyle when not on holiday too, which includes swimming, climbing, football and dance.

Nick coaches the Padbury Village Under 9's football team, while Kelly is a governor at Marsh Gibbon CE Primary School.
