Festive fun as Bovis Homes supports Rudolph Run

Ipswich's annual Rudolph Run has returned this December and a local house builder is excited to be sponsoring the final leg of the journey at the end of the month.

Bovis Homes has given a donation towards the festive event, which is organised by the Ipswich Round Table and sees Santa visiting neighbourhoods spreading Christmas cheer on his Rudolph sleigh throughout December. The house builder has sponsored the route through the California area of the town.

"It's a such a fantastic tradition in Ipswich and we are very proud to be a part of it this year," says regional marketing manager, Candice McCabe. "It's a great way to bring the community together, get residents into the festive spirit and help to raise money for a good cause."

The Rudolph float was handmade by a group from the Round Table in 1970 and this year all proceeds from the event are going towards local foodbank Ipswich FIND and Ipswich Winter Night Shelter, along with other local charities.

Tony Cheung, Chairman of Ipswich Round Table, said: "The Ipswich Rudolph now spans three generations in our community and is often the recognised symbol that Christmas is coming! We seek out local companies who want to help us keep up this tradition and I am thrilled to have the support from Bovis Homes from their splendid new development. You really need to see the show home!"

Bovis Homes recently joined the Ipswich community with its Ribbans Park location, situated off Foxhall Road. Last month, the house builder opened the doors of its three-bedroom Faversham show home to the public. The three-storey house boasts an open-plan kitchen and dining area, with a separate sitting room and a master bedroom which includes an en suite and built-in wardrobe.

The popular new part of the Ipswich community has a range of two to five bedroom homes available for house seekers. In a variety styles and layouts, the location provides a wide selection of home options for buyers.

"We're looking forward to seeing the bright lights of Rudolph through Ipswich and we're hoping next year we'll see him visit us at Ribbans Park!" says Candice.
