Final homes for sale at development in Horam
- 04 May 22
The final homes are now available at a housing development in the East Sussex village of Horam, where construction is nearing the last stages. Vistry Group is building 123 new homes at Bovis Homes’ Rosemead Place location, including 80 homes for private sale and 43 affordable properties for local people through rent or shared ownership. Millie Groves, marketing manager for Vistry Kent, said: “Rosemead Place has delivered a good selection of high-quality homes for people in the Horam area and buyers have responded by snapping up the majority of the properties. This strong demand, which we experienced as soon as the first homes were released for sale, means we have only four properties now available. “The development has provided a mix of new homes, ranging from three-bedroom starter homes to detached five-bedroom houses for larger families. The final properties available to reserve include a choice of three-bedroom bungalows and four-bedroom houses. “The bigger homes will appeal to larger families while the three-bedroom bungalows are perfect for couples who need a working-from-home space, or older buyers downsizing and looking to live in a home without stairs.” Rosemead Place is situated off Horebeech Lane and will include extensive landscaping, including enhanced woodland, large areas of public open space and a children’s play area. Millie said: “The popularity of this development can be largely attributed to a number of factors. The location is a semi-rural setting which is close to the centre of a charming village with a variety of local shops including a café, a supermarket, a bakery and a hairdresser. Families are also attracted by the fact that within a radius of four miles there’s a primary school and a secondary school, both rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted. “Many buyers have been drawn in by the prospect of living in a peaceful countryside environment, on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the coast just 15 miles away. “These properties represent the last chance for people to buy a home at Rosemead Place which is not only creating a brand-new neighbourhood in Horam but is also delivering much-needed housing to the area.” There is currently a selection of three and four-bedroom homes available to reserve at Rosemead Place, with prices starting at £509,995.
