Final residents settle in at flourishing new community

A new part of the Salford Priors community is now complete as the final Bovis Homes buyers move into their new property at the popular location.

Bovis Homes has welcomed many new residents to Walnut Grange over recent years and now the final buyers, Robert Poole and Deborah Cund, have settled into their new home, completing the neighbourhood.

“It’s a special moment when you welcome the final residents into their home,” says Sian Salter, sales advisor at Walnut Grange. “We’ve watched Walnut Grange flourish into this wonderful community and it’s exciting for it to now move into its next chapter.”

The first homes at Walnut Grange were occupied in 2016, with residents gradually moving in until Robert, Deborah and their Cocker Spaniel, Vinnie moved in this summer.

“We were keen to buy a new-build as I’m not really a DIY sort of guy and we wanted a home which was warm and energy-efficient,” says Robert. “We really wanted a Bovis Home. I grew up in one – and my parents still live in it!”

Robert and Deborah were initially looking to buy at Bovis Homes’ nearby Bidford-on-Avon location, but ended up snapping up the final home at Walnut Grange.

“We found our ideal home at Walnut Grange. It’s a great size, with a lovely garden that isn’t overlooked - it’s just perfect for us,” says Robert.

The couple selected the five-bedroom Winchester house type, which has an open-plan kitchen and family area, as well as a spacious sitting room with both rooms boasting bi-fold doors out into the garden. There is a handy study and a separate dining room, while upstairs the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a built-in wardrobe.

“The Bovis Homes team have been fabulous throughout the whole process. Our sales advisor, Sian, was there for us every step of the way and was especially helpful when our initial buyers pulled out,” says Robert. “Our home is beautiful – we love it!”

Bovis Homes’ Bidford Leys location, located less than a mile from Walnut Grange, still has properties available, offering a range of three to five-bedroom homes, including the popular Winchester style, which Robert and Deborah have settled into. Located off Salford Road, the attractive neighbourhood has been spaciously designed with open green areas and footpaths running throughout.
