Reservations are flying in for the recently-released properties at Bovis Homes’ Stortford Fields location over the last month and there are now just nine of the two and three-bedroom homes left to buy.

Young couples from Hertfordshire looking to start a family, and commuters - to nearby London and Cambridge - are among the buyers who have been attracted to the quality homes and the highly rated schools and amenities nearby.

Lydia Gray, sales advisor at Stortford Fields, said: “We’re delighted with how many first-time buyers are purchasing the two and three-bedroom homes in our new phase at Stortford Fields.

“It’s great that we are offering them this opportunity to get on the housing ladder. Our new-build homes are proving very popular and the fact there are impressive schools and shops nearby, as well as transport links, means we expect this trend to continue.”

The properties are part of Bovis Homes’ new housing range, which is being rolled out across the country and more two, three, and four-bedroom properties are being released in December.

Bovis Homes’ new collection, which includes two to five-bedroom homes that have been designed and developed by the company over the last 12 months, are named after British trees and focus on well-proportioned exteriors with a real sense of light and flow on the inside.

There are purchasing packages on selected properties available, including Help to Buy – Equity Loan, Smooth Move and Key Workers.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.

Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.
