Halloween hauntings for Haslington home hunters

There will be more than ghosts and ghouls surprising visitors at Bovis Homes’ Haslington Halloween event next weekend, as the local house builder shows off the amazing smart technology available in its new homes.

On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October, Bovis Homes will be hosting a special Halloween weekend at its Hazelmere location, giving house hunters the chance to look around the show home and find out more about its brand-new connected properties.

“There will be lots of entertainment throughout the day, with trick or treat for the kids and some special effects to get into the Halloween spirit of things!” says Bovis Homes marketing manager Louise MacRae. “We’ll be dressing up our Arundel show home for Halloween and there’ll be a few surprises around the house to demonstrate what the smart technology can do”

Bovis Homes has partnered with Home Hub Installations to bring the state-of-the-art concealed cabling system to Hazelmere. Buyers will have the opportunity to future-proof their home with this innovative set-up, which tidies all wires out of sight and allows all the devices in the home to be controlled by a smart home app on a phone or tablet.

“The way that people interact with the technology in their home is changing and this is an exciting new option to offer our customers,” says Louise. “Not only can this bring great aesthetic benefits to the home, but it also puts the homeowner in a good position to take advantage of future developments in smart home technology too.

“As well as our own knowledgeable sales team, we’ll also have representatives from Home Hub Installations and Richer Sounds on hand to give interested buyers further information about the system and explain how it can be used to suit their lifestyles. There’ll be lots of fun at the event and visitors will really be able to see how the technology can benefit all the family.”

Hazelmere has a wide range of three, four and five-bedroom homes available, in a variety of styles and layouts. The spacious neighbourhood has already proved popular with many home seekers, with open-green spaces, a play area and footpaths running throughout.
