Hampshire buyers to benefit as Winchester Village sells final homes

- 20 Nov 18

Hampshire house buyers could save thousands at Winchester Village right now, as Bovis Homes offers to pay the stamp duty on selected homes for the lucky final buyers at this exclusive new part of the community.

Designed for a modern lifestyle but in a charming traditional style, Bovis Homes’ Winchester Village has welcomed many new residents over the last few years and now the last purchasers are set to complete the bustling location.

“Buyers can benefit now, as we’re offering to pay the stamp duty on selected four and five-bedroom homes,” says regional marketing manager, Hollie Lockhart. “Not only that, with our range of purchase assistance schemes, you could have a dream move and be celebrating Christmas in your new home before you know it!”

With the Home Exchange scheme, Bovis Homes can take away the hassle of selling your existing property by buying it from you. The housebuilder will deal with the estate agents on your behalf and even pay the fees.

“There is a real community spirit at Winchester Village, which has been helped by the careful design of the neighbourhood,” says Hollie. “Winchester Village has plenty of open green spaces and a wonderful woodland. At the heart of the community is a village green, which includes a play area, and is a great spot for socialising and outdoor leisure activities.”

Lynn Laver has been living at Winchester Village for over a year. She said: “What I particularly like about the development is the variety of house designs. They’re all beautiful, and it looks lovely architecturally. The whole site is very easy on the eye and well laid out including the village green, which is charming. The neighbours are very nice too. It’s a really lovely community to live in.”

The homes at the landmark location have been designed by renowned local architect Huw Thomas and are unique to Winchester Village.

“Our homes are designed for contemporary lifestyles, with open-plan living spaces, en-suites, French doors out into the garden and modern kitchens,” says Hollie. “At Winchester Village, the properties have some extra-special finishing touches which adds to their luxury. For example, many homes boast granite worktops, oak veneer doors, chrome fittings and classic regency-style windows. We have houses available with dressing rooms and kitchen islands, as well as some which offer some great office options if you work from home.”

Winchester Village offers residents the excitement of being part of a new community, as well as the advantages of being close to local shops, amenities and schools and great commuter routes, with the motorway network just over a mile away and an easily accessible train station. The location also boasts a regular park and ride which takes users into the centre of Winchester.

Hollie says: “Winchester Village is really very special. If you are looking to move, it’s worth visiting our sales team to find out more about the properties and offers, and take a look around our show homes to have a taste of the style and charm of the houses”
