Holiday prize for home-seeking couple

When Leanne Down and her partner Jack George first visited Bovis Homes' Saxons Plain location in West Durrington, little did they know it would lead to them jetting off to one of Europe's most historic cities.

The couple are celebrating having been announced as the winners of house builder Bovis Homes' Heatwave competition for its South East region. They were presented with a £500 holiday voucher by sales advisor Craig Jones.

Jack and Leanne currently live in south-west London but were visiting the Worthing development with Jack's father. It was during their tour of the show homes that Craig invited the couple to take part in the competition.

"We took a selfie with the frame and thought no more of it," says Leanne, who works in customer service for a media company.

"We then had an email a couple of weeks later, inviting us in to the show home to hear some 'news' and it was only when we were able to go back in person that we were told we'd won!"

The couple have already made plans for their prize, and will be heading off to the Hungarian capital of Budapest in February 2018.

"We were so excited that we'd won, we wasted no time in booking a city break to a place that we've never been before, says Leanne.

"We'd been recommended Budapest as a place to visit by friends, but never got round to going. Thanks to the voucher, we were able to book a really lovely five-star hotel and we really can't wait to go! We're so grateful to Bovis Homes and want to say a massive thank you for our prize. Given our plans to move we didn't think we'd be able to afford a holiday during 2018, but Bovis Homes have solved that!" she added.

Bovis Homes' Heatwave competition ran throughout the summer months, with entrants visiting sales centres across seven operating regions to take a photo using the summer heat wave frame and then being entered into a draw.
