Bovis Homes' Cloakham Lawns development
Home hunters in Axminster with smaller deposits could get onto the property ladder after a housing association launched a number of shared ownership apartments at Bovis Homes’ new-build location in the town.

The housebuilder’s Cloakham Lawns development, located on Chard Road, has three and four-bedroom homes available alongside Guinness Homes’ shared ownership apartments.

Discussing shared ownership, Emma Smith, regional sales and marketing director at Bovis Homes, which is part of the newly-formed Vistry Group, said: “This is a great opportunity for local people to be able to purchase a new home that is more affordable for them.

“Buying a percentage of the property means a smaller deposit and a smaller mortgage which can enable home buyers to get onto the property ladder sooner.

“We are sure that it will generate more interest in the development and we look forward to welcoming people to visit us here at Cloakham Lawns.”

Situated in an idyllic countryside setting, Cloakham Lawns is a fantastic location for first-time buyers, growing families and those looking to downsize. The development is just six miles from the south coast, only 15-20 minutes away from popular Lyme Regis and Seaton, and boasts great bus, rail and motorway links too.

The town also offers a leisure centre, a museum, several schools, local shops plus larger supermarkets. Find out more about the development on the Bovis Homes website.

Those interested in shared ownership, can also visit the Guinness Homes website to find out more.
