Home hunters in Lichfield visit new-build location by housebuilder with environmental focus

Home hunters keen on a move to Lichfield can visit a new-build location by a housebuilder that is focused on its environmental impact.

Bovis Homes, which has homes available at Roman Heights, on Burton Road, has been built with families in mind and is a short walk from the local primary school.

Roman Heights features a lot of character with a new range of homes now available with innovative, fresh designs and nearby open parkland, public footpaths and plenty of public space.

Bovis Homes properties at Roman Heights are around 65 per cent more energy-efficient, use 30 per cent less water and are 50 per cent cheaper to run than an equivalent Victorian house, according to Home Builders Federation figures, keeping home owners warm in the winter and saving them money on utility bills.

The housebuilder, which is reducing the size of its carbon footprint on locations, also offers doubleglazed windows and doors, lower CO2 emissions, water saving systems, efficient boilers and quality insulation.

Bovis Homes has special offers on selected plots including a five per cent deposit match or stamp duty paid; an interior design package, worth up to £5,000; flooring; and £1,000 worth of legal fees.

House types at Roman Heights include the three-bedroom Durham, Horton and Sheringham, fourbedroom Oxford, Canterbury and Montpellier and five-bedroom Truro.

All have a 10-year NHBC Buildmark warranty and prices at the location start from £329,995.

Purchasing schemes include the Government’s Help to Buy Equity Loan initiative, Smooth Move, plus the housebuilder’s Key Workers scheme.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.
