Home hunters keen on a move to Lichfield can visit a new-build location by a housebuilder that is focused on its environmental impact.

Bovis Homes' Roman Heights location in Lichfield
Bovis Homes, which has homes available at Roman Heights, on Burton Road, has been built with families in mind and is a short walk from the local primary school.

Roman Heights features a lot of character with a new range of homes now available with innovative, fresh designs and nearby open parkland, public footpaths and plenty of public space.

Elaine Cartwright, regional sales and marketing director at Bovis Homes, said: “Roman Heights is a stunning location with a new range of homes now available with fresh designs; with open parkland nearby and a primary school for the youngsters.

“We are proud of the energy-efficient homes we have here and support home buyers and families as best we can, with great open spaces, facilities and also purchasing schemes to help people move into their own brand-new property.”

Bovis Homes properties at Roman Heights are around 65 per cent more energy-efficient, use 30 per cent less water and are 50 per cent cheaper to run than an equivalent Victorian house, according to Home Builders Federation figures, keeping home owners warm in the winter and saving them money on utility bills.

The housebuilder, which is reducing the size of its carbon footprint on locations, also offers doubleglazed windows and doors, lower CO2 emissions, water saving systems, efficient boilers and quality insulation.

Bovis Homes has special offers on selected plots including a five per cent deposit match or stamp duty paid; an interior design package, worth up to £5,000; flooring; and £1,000 worth of legal fees.

"We have a great range of purchasing assistance options at Roman Heights,” Elaine added.

“Our interior designer will help you style your new home the way you want and we’ll give you up to £5,000 to spend plus one-to-one consultations.

House types at Roman Heights include the three-bedroom Durham, Horton and Sheringham, fourbedroom Oxford, Canterbury and Montpellier and five-bedroom Truro.

All have a 10-year NHBC Buildmark warranty and prices at the location start from £329,995.

Purchasing schemes include the Government’s Help to Buy Equity Loan initiative, Smooth Move, plus the housebuilder’s Key Workers scheme.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.

Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.
