Home hunters in Shropshire to attend special event on housebuilder’s new range

Home hunters in Shropshire can find out more about a national housebuilder’s latest property range at a special event in the county next month.

Bovis Homes - part of the newly-formed Vistry Group - will highlight properties from its new homes collection at Iddeshale Gardens in Shifnal, Bowbrook Meadows in Shrewsbury and Haygate Fields in Wellington.

Features in the new house types – which include well-proportioned exteriors with a real sense of light and flow on the inside – will be discussed at the session, plus purchasing assistance schemes including the Government’s Help to Buy – Equity Loan initiative.

Louise Macrae, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “Our new housing range is
proving particularly popular in Shropshire and we are delighted that home buyers are making the most of our new features.

“Our Shifnal location is now 50 per cent sold and there are only a few properties left available in Shrewsbury. Homes on our Wellington and Shifnal developments have enhanced specifications including appliances and bathroom upgrades.

Bowbrook Meadows, off Mytton Oak Road, has footpaths and plenty of open-space landscapes. Play areas have been built for children and the housebuilder has introduced balancing ponds as a temporary water storage facility that will become a permanent environmental feature to encourage wildlife.

Bovis Homes has spent more than £1.7million on the town, supporting the local community and working closely with Shropshire Council to deliver improvements in education and transport.

Iddeshale Gardens, on Haughton Road, has matched the space and countryside feel that
surrounds it and many of the properties offer beautiful open-space views and newly created
walkways.

Haygate Fields is just a few miles from The Wrekin and offers fantastic views of one the county's most famous landmarks. Homes are built with plenty of space between neighbours, offering the best in privacy.

Bovis Homes, which is reducing the size of its carbon footprint on locations, also offers double-glazed windows and doors, lower CO2 emissions, water saving systems, efficient boilers and quality insulation.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.

Bovis Homes’ new housing collection, which includes two to five-bedroom homes that have been designed and developed by the company over the last 12 months, are named after British trees.

The event will take place at Haughton Hall in Shifnal, on 27th February, from 4pm to 8pm.
