House builder brings new communities together to raise money for cancer charity

- 18 Sep 18

A local house builder will be bringing communities together and raising funds for Macmillan by hosting coffee mornings across the region this Friday – and has pledged to double the amount raises in its South East region

Bovis Homes’ Saxons Plain in West Durrington, Bramble Park in Hurstpierpoint and Birch Gate in Wymondham will be welcoming visitors with a wide selection of cakes and treats on Friday 28th September as it helps to raise funds for the cancer charity. The sales team is hoping to tempt visitors at its Bramble Park location with local bakery, Truffles supplying a range of goodies.

“We’ll be inviting members of the public into our sales centres to enjoy refreshments and cakes from 10am until 1pm,” says regional marketing manager Candice McCabe. “We’d like to say thank you to Truffles Bakery for agreeing to provide some cakes for the occasion. We’ve also set up a dedicated text number which we’ve sent to our customers who are unable to attend, so they too can donate. And to top it off, we’ve pledged to double the total amount raised!

“The Macmillan coffee morning is a great event which brings people together in the fight against cancer and we hope to welcome lots of residents, interested buyers and locals to come and take part.”
