House buyers gain energy-saving incentives at housebuilder’s Winchester location

- 30 May 19

House buyers in Winchester could buy the new-build property of their dreams while enjoying energy-saving incentives.

Bovis Homes' Winchester Village location
Home owners at Bovis Homes’ Winchester Village location, on Pitt Road, can buy a new home which is 65 per cent more efficient than a Victorian house and uses 30 per cent less water than older properties, meaning the property could be 50 per cent cheaper to run.

Purchasers could also have their stamp duty paid on selected plots. Our Home Exchange is available on homes valued up to £650,000 meaning Bovis Homes will buy their property as part of the part-exchange scheme.

Hollie Lockhart, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “We have some highly desirable homes at our Winchester Village development, that are proving very popular.

“Buyers can purchase a property that’s full of character, impressive architecture and a host of benefits that mean they can enjoy energy-efficient living with customer care support and high specifications.”

Winchester Village is just under two miles from the centre of Winchester and enjoys a semi-rural location. There are a wealth of city amenities nearby, which can easily be reached by the Park and Ride, which sits within the development.

From Winchester railway station, trains run regularly to London Waterloo and there are services to Southampton, Portsmouth, Oxford, Birmingham and Manchester.

Bovis Homes’ Home Exchange scheme means the housebuilder will purchase the customer's current property, which means they can avoid all those fees and time-consuming, stress-building house chains.

To part-exchange their home, a customer’s current property must be valued at no more than 75 per cent of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.
