House buyers in Silverstone are racing to purchase new-build homes in the village before Christmas – and four and five-bedroom properties are in pole position.

Couples, young families, downsizers and retirees are among those snapping up properties at Bovis Homes’ Silverstone Leys, on Towcester Road, a new-homes location that is proving particularly popular with motor racing fans.

There are still four and five-bedroom properties available to buy, including houses from Bovis Homes’ brand-new homes collection.

Yvonne Smith, sales advisor at Bovis Homes, said: “Most home owners at Silverstone Leys have an interest in, or have direct links to, the Silverstone race track and we completely understand why!

“The venue is such an attraction, and people love living so close to it, but also in a quiet village with great transport links - as Silverstone Leys is only ten miles from the motorway.

“We have some fantastic properties left available, including from our new homes collection, which is extremely popular with all types of house buyers and all ages.”

Among properties at the location, the four-bedroom Montpellier has an open-plan kitchen with dining area, a separate sitting room with French doors to the back garden, and bedroom one has an en suite.

Meanwhile, the Ascot is a grand double-fronted executive home, with a spacious reception hallway, a kitchen with an island, an expansive lounge with bi-fold doors, plus five bedrooms with a total of two en suites and two dressing rooms.

An imposing, stone-built family home, with five bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms, the Charlcote offers flexible living space. It has a full-width lounge and family kitchen providing a great entertainment area.

Home Exchange is offered to buyers at Silverstone Leys. The Bovis Homes purchasing scheme sees the housebuilder buying the customer's current property, which means they can avoid all those estate agent fees and time-consuming, stress-building house chains. It also means that purchasers can stay in their current house until their new home is ready.

To part-exchange their home, a customer’s current property must be valued at no more than 75 per cent of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.

Also, Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme is available. Home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.
