Bovis Homes’ Connected Home will open to the public at the housebuilder’s Silver Acres, on Silverwoods Way – the first location in the region to offer the modern packages.

Families, house buyers and tech lovers can view the three-bedroom future-proof home – where devices inside the property can be controlled by a smart home app on a phone or tablet.

Louise Macrae, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in one of our brand-new properties – with futuristic packages – to view our three-bedroom show home at Silver Acres and see for themselves just how wonderful all our ultramodern features are.

"From controlling the TV and sound systems and even protecting the property by monitoring any movement in the house – the opportunities are endless."

When house buyers purchase a Bovis Homes Connected Home, they can choose from a range of packages and future-proof their property with an innovative set-up, which tidies wires out of sight.

The housebuilder has partnered with Home Hub Installations to offer the state-of-the-art concealed cabling system in its homes at a range of locations.

They include Haygate Fields in Wellington, Hazelmere in Haslington and Roman Heights in Lichfield.

Visitors to Silver Acres today can enjoy a showstopper festive-themed cake, cupcakes and shortbread. The first reservation of the day will also get a Santa Severn Valley rail experience for the whole family.

Silver Acres is the first location in the region to offer the new packages as part of Bovis Homes’ ‘Select’ range.
