- 30 May 22

Vistry Group has donated £300 towards Horam’s Jubilee celebrations which are taking place on Thursday 2nd June. Tickets are now all sold out for the event organised by fancy dress and party shop All Dressed Up, with over 400 people set to be in attendance. An array of events will be taking place at Horam Village Hall and recreation ground, from 4.30pm including a children’s street party, live music, junior and adult cake decorating competitions, poems, face painting, a barbecue and buffet. Children will also receive a gift box with Jubilee souvenirs included. The ticketed event will be followed at 9.35pm by the official Beacon Lighting Ceremony and fireworks, which is open to all. Vistry is building new homes in the village under the Bovis Homes brand at its Rosemead Place location off Horebeech Lane. Tricha Marsh, from All Dressed Up, said: “We have hosted events before but nothing quite as big as this one. We hope to see the village dressed in the Jubilee colours as we provide a wealth of entertainment for the Horam community in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee. “We are very thankful for Bovis Homes’ support with this event. Without their support the event wouldn’t be the same.” Millie Groves, marketing manager for Vistry Kent, said: “We are more than happy to support All Dressed Up for this impressive event. “It is great to see the community coming together to provide a day of fun for the village’s residents.”
