Jack Allen, who works at Bovis Homes’ Whitehouse Park location, in Crownhill, has landed the National House Building Council (NHBC)’s Pride in the Job Quality Award, after being selected from more than 16,000 site managers across the UK.

Jack, the youngest site manager at Bovis Homes to achieve the accolade, said: “It feels fantastic to have a won a Pride in the Job award for the second year running, and it’s a testament to our ability to build houses to such a high standard here at Milton Keynes.

“Our primary focus at Whitehouse Park is to continue to produce a product we as a team are proud of. If it wasn’t for all the hard work and support of my team and subcontractors, none of this would be possible.”

A total of six Bovis Homes site managers won a Pride in the Job Quality Award across the country this year, the same number as last year and the housebuilder’s highest amount since 2004.

Jack, who has been in the role for just two years, went through to the next stage of the awards’ Southern region last year and won the Seal of Excellence, which celebrates exceptional achievement.

Michael Stirrop, managing director of Bovis Homes' Northern Home Counties region, said Jack had impressed at the housebuilder and the whole team had a good rapport with customers.

He said: “This is a brilliant achievement for both Jack and the rest of the Milton Keynes team. Customers have been giving some fantastic feedback and that's all down to Jack and his team's hard work. We wish Jack all the best for the next round."

The NHBC Pride in the Job Southern region award ceremony takes place at Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes on 8th November.
