Local housebuilder gets behind community and hands festive boost to Heyford Park Christmas Bazaar

Oxfordshire housebuilder Bovis Homes has donated 10,000 marketing leaflets for the fifth year running, along with a luxury Christmas hamper, to boost a popular festive event at Upper Heyford.

On Saturday 7th December, the sixth annual Heyford Park Christmas Bazaar will take place at The Chapel on Brice Road between 10:30am and 3pm. All proceeds raised are going to community groups based at Heyford Park.

Paul Bennison, marketing manager in Bovis Homes’ West Midlands region, said: “This is a wonderful community event, perfect to get into the festive spirit. We are proud to be able to support the Bazaar by designing and printing their leaflets and donating to the raffle. We hope that many Heyford Park residents will come along to the event.”

Entry to the event is free and attendees can browse over 30 stalls, with a raffle, tombola and face painting. Plus you can purchase hot and cold food, mulled wine and gin toddies.

Anna Rosewell, the event organiser, said: “Last year we raised nearly £1,000 which was a 30% increase on the previous year. Money was split between groups and charities in Heyford Park including the local scouts, community garden, chapel, WI, Youth Group and Tourettes Group. We hope that this year we’ll be able to raise even more!”
