Local housebuilder supports healthcare charity with show home photoshoot

- 06 Dec 18

A local housebuilder was happy to help when a charity went searching for a suitable venue for a photoshoot to support its online shop.

Bovis Homes welcomed representatives from Sue Ryder to its Glassthorpe Grange location in Flore for a special photoshoot in its Ascot show home. The charity used the five-bedroom property to display a range of its products which are sold through its online shop.

Amy Cooksey, e-commerce manager at Sue Ryder, said: “We are extremely grateful for the very generous offer of the use of this gorgeous new-build Bovis Home for our seasonal lifestyle photoshoot. Having a location like this to style our lifestyle shots for the online shop will help raise much-needed funds so we can provide more care for more people.”

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can. All the goods on its online shop are brand-new and sourced by the buying team in Northampton, with 100% of the profits supporting the charity’s work.

“We were delighted and proud to welcome the Sue Ryder Charity to Glassthorpe Grange,” says Paul Bennison, Bovis Homes regional marketing manager. “It was great to have the opportunity to support such a worthy cause and we were only too happy to help.”

Bovis Homes’ popular Glassthorpe Grange location on the outskirts of the village of Flore offers a range of four and five-bedroom properties. The neighbourhood has already welcomed many new residents, and it is fast becoming a close-knit community.

Amy continues: “We usually conduct two or three photoshoots a year and it’s always a challenge trying to find the right location. We were very lucky to come across Bovis Homes show home because it was exactly what we were looking for – a local, beautifully-styled contemporary property where our products would not look out of place.”
