National housebuilder donates much needed PPE to the NHS

One of the key pieces of kit currently sought by those on the NHS frontline are FFP3 face masks, which are also used in the housebuilding industry.

Bovis Homes is part of Vistry Group, and our construction director at Vistry Southern, Steve Ott, put out the call to local sub-contractors for any suitable spare Personal Protection Equipment and within hours received more than 100 items, including the precious masks, goggles, and protective gloves. All are now in the possession of the NHS.

“When you see the commitment and sacrifice from everyone in the NHS putting their own lives at risk, everyone in my team wanted to do anything possible to help,” said Steve.
