New-build home hunters in Kent have a range of property options through housebuilder

- 05 Sep 19

House hunters in Kent wanting to enjoy the delights of the county - boasting coastlines, castles and seaside towns - have a range of new-build options through a national housebuilder.

Bovis Homes' Orchard Fields location in Barming
Purchasers with Bovis Homes have the choice of two locations; Orchard Fields in Barming and Catkin Gardens in Headcorn, plus three locations that are launching soon - Gravesend; Staplehurst; and Faversham.

Families, couples and individuals are spoilt for choice with a mixture of three, four and five-bedroom homes to choose from. Properties from Bovis Homes’ new collection - with high ceilings, wider door frames and big windows - will soon follow.

Candice McCabe, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: “We have a range of delightful properties for sale at Orchard Fields - where we have our last few homes remaining - and Catkin Gardens locations where there is a variety of detached three, four and five-bedroom homes.

“Make an appointment to view our current range for yourselves, see how spacious, light and well-built our homes are and why we get such great customer feedback.

“Visit our website to find out about our new homes collection in Kent. There are properties that are perfect for all house buyers, no matter whether you’re an individual, a young couple, a growing family, elderly or downsizing.

“As well as brilliant house types, we also have purchasing schemes to help all sorts of buyers on to the housing ladder.”

There are many purchasing options available to assist buying a Bovis Homes property. They include the Government’s Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, Smooth Move, Home Exchange and the Key Workers initiative.

The Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme is available at the location, plus the housebuilder’s Key Workers initiative.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Buyers looking to sell their home can take advantage of Bovis Homes' Smooth Move scheme, which can save time and thousands of pounds, with the home builder dealing with the estate agent on the customer's behalf, as well as paying the fees.

Bovis Homes’ Home Exchange initiative means the housebuilder will purchase the customer's current property, which means they can avoid all those estate agent fees and time-consuming, stress-building house chains. It also means that purchasers can say in their current house until their new home is ready

To part-exchange their home, a customer’s current property must be valued at no more than 75 per cent of the new Bovis Home they wish to purchase. Bovis Homes will arrange for the buyer's property to be valued, then make them an offer based on the valuation.

Meanwhile, the Key Workers initiative offers great discounts to employees of certain public sector bodies.
