New kit for Sandbach football team thanks to home builder

- 30 Nov 16

Sandbach United under 11's football team is geared up for future matches thanks to support from a local home builder.

Bovis Homes, which has its new Saxon Lea location just down the road from the club, are sponsoring the Cheshire-based team's football kit, and the youngsters were thrilled to show off their new blue and white attire.

"We're delighted to have been given the opportunity to sponsor the team," says Saxon Lea sales advisor, Laura Hayward. "The squad looked fantastic in their new kit and we hope that it brings them lots of success on the football field!"

The team's manager, Mike Edwards, said: "We'd like to say a huge thank you to Bovis Homes for their continued support. The team is run by volunteers and they rely on local businesses and parent fundraising to provide kit for the boys, so this really is greatly appreciated."

As Bovis Homes joins the local community it is proud to support the popular team, known as 'The Falcons', which includes players from Crewe, Middlewich and Holmes Chapel, as well as Sandbach. The 10 and 11-year-olds train and play matches at the town's Community Football Centre off Hind Heath Road, which is only a short walk away from the Saxon Lea location.

The new properties range from three to five-bedrooms and includes a variety of house types, from three-storey townhouse styles to traditional detached family homes.
