New kit for Shifnal Town FC thanks to sponsorship boost

Shifnal Town Football Club fans will have noticed the team's brand new kit this season, thanks to support from a local house builder.

Bovis Homes is sponsoring the Shropshire club and the team has recently donned a new kit which features the house builder's logo.

"Shifnal Town FC is a fantastic team and we're delighted to have had the opportunity to support the club," says Carina Wilde, regional marketing manager for Bovis Homes. "We wish them a successful season and the new kit looks fantastic out on the pitch!"

"We at Shifnal Town Football Club are delighted with the sponsorship deal with Bovis Homes," says Kevin Fullerton, Treasurer at Shifnal Town Football Club. "It is very difficult to run a football club at this level, with significant reliance being placed upon a small but dedicated group of volunteers. Monies generated through the turnstiles are nowhere near sufficient to meet the running costs and sponsorship is always welcome. We are very grateful for funds to meet one of the most important items of expenditure necessary for the season."

With a history of supporting local communities, Bovis Homes is proud to be joining forces with the football club, which plays in the West Midlands (Regional) League, as it becomes part of the Shifnal community with its Iddeshale Gardens development, located on the edge of the market town.

Iddeshale Gardens, which includes a range of three, four and five bedroom homes, is fast becoming a close-knit community, having already welcomed many new residents to the area.

The three-bedroom show home and sales information centre can be visited daily between 10am and 5pm.
